I arrived in Italy last Thursday, and have already begun painting at the Thomas Hanbury Gardens. I’m set up in the Casa di Sol in the middle of the grounds, in a room full of light, set in the middle of the “perfume garden”. The entire property is beginning to bloom, and the citrus, cypress, wysteria, jasmin and exotics spill down to the Mediterranean in a riot of color and life.
People have asked for more information about this residency, so I have decided to venture into the facebook world, and will post almost daily my experiences here, and not only the artistic side of my stay in Italy!
