“Every garden is my home”
What makes me feel at home in a garden? The smell and light of the color green. Painting gardens structures my existence, allowing a chance to slow down and pay attention. The garden – and the paintings – become a metaphor for the fragility of our relationship with the contemporary world, with the Earth, and with the idea of belonging itself.
